Hi, I'm Madeleine

How I Tutor Maths

My Tutoring approach

Throughout my 8-year tutoring, I have had fantastic learners, and have admired the adventure of always studying new schemes of treatment to a theme so that it is exciting and cool for the child I tutor.

My teaching method

My training ideology is student-centred: my intent is always to set up a supportive, friendly and inspiring atmosphere for learning the ways to progress.
I react actively to the needs of any child I tutor, forming my teaching manner in the way that it fully complies with their personality and abilities.

I also strongly believe that students learn best while they're doing exersises associated with their education. This points to using games, writing tasks, drawing pictures, making rhymes, student presentations, and other types of collaboration, which keeps children energised and amazed referring to the object.

I teach proficiently and thoroughly, easily assessing places for improvement, and then using simple pattern spotting methodologies. I pay attention to setting up elementary activities for the student produce their private understanding of the problem. I have a deep passion for mathematics and physics, and I do not feel annoyed of talking about and studying these situations with my students. It is a real joy to spot new and interesting styles of coming up with the theme so that it is interesting and always fresh for both sides. My students in the past have always given me only positive reviews on our lessons.

Feelings, emotions and tutoring maths

With the help of encouragement, humour, and patience, I continually make every effort to teach my students that they are capable of much more than they imagine.
I believe that my willingness to adjust teaching techniques in compliance with the requirements of learners, subject matter, and student demographics are all vital for my ability to be excellent as a mentor.
I base my teaching on the belief that the sole way to study mathematics is to do mathematics. Though the process of reading examples and proofs from lecture notes and in textbooks is appreciated, the real learning comes through one's own efforts at solving mathematical issues, either theoretical, computational, or both.
I have also noticed that giving tasks that have a direct relation to the student's personal life can improve their studying the theme and comprehension its application.

More info about myself

My strongest characteristic is interaction, and I get on extremely well with teens. If instructed by a person who reveals enthusiasm and passion about their topics, the students usually consider it much easier to create a passion for the subject themselves. I am really tolerant and I take my time in order to make certain that the trainee comprehends whatever, because it is necessary that there are absolutely no expertise gaps when learning topics like Mathematics as well as Physics.
